Education Teaching is a Process of Training the Mind

Education is a process of training the mind and developing a person’s character through years of formal schooling and training. Education has been prevalent in society for a long time and the evidence is the development and transition that has taken place in the world up through today. Education has led to a lot of technological advancements and innovations that have made life convenient and comfortable. Through education, a person gains knowledge about different subjects. He learns to develop his skills in different activities that are held throughout his schooling life. Education prepares a person for the final race that he has to face after he completes his formal education.
Education can be divided into three broad levels: primary education, secondary education and higher education. Primary education is mandatory in most countries and usually begins at the age of 5-7 years. It is concerned with developing the basic concepts of the students in most of the subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, science and history. Secondary education and training usually takes place at the college level. The students are also trained in vocational subjects if they wish to acquire specialization in a particular field such as pilot training or engineering.

Education is a two-way process that involves learning and teaching. It involves retention and interpretation of the gained information. The goal is to establish a concrete knowledge base which would help the students make some informed decisions at later stages of their lives. The type of education received by students also depends largely on the quality of the teachers. The teachers should be capable enough to convince the students. The students should be given the choice when it comes to learning because if they do not have interest in what they learn then the knowledge will never turn out to be beneficial.
